It’s time…

We all know this feeling. It’s a voice deep within that’s says it is time to turn a page in your life.

I’m there…

The word retirement, so foreign to me for so long, now calls my name. It’s time to rest. The season of hard work, long hours, and demanding schedules is over.

But, the memories of joyful brides and grooms, moms and dads will live on forever in my heart.

I believe in following your heart always! It’s surprising how doors open and opportunities present themselves when you follow your gifts and talents down a road that is authentically your own.

I followed my heart and walked in blind faith so many years ago creating Ann’s Garden.

I remember how afraid I was. Then after some crazy coincidences I could not ignore, I went for it!

The final push came with a dream I had. The message in the dream was clear. The same message as in the Kevin Costner movie, Field of Dreams, “Build it and they will come.” Crazy, right?

I built it,
They came…

There are blessing that follow a leap of faith.

Those blessings include all the people you were destined to meet and the lessons you will learn.

Collaborating with vendors at the top of their fields in the wedding / event industry was such a privilege and a pleasure.

I have been inspired by so many of you.

Thank you for embracing Ann’s Garden.

Thank you to all of those who traveled this journey with me.

Some were here for a season, some came back after a season away! A core group of you blessed me with your dedication and loyalty for over 20 years. I am so proud of the family we became. You are the best!

Last but not least, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the blessing of “our Bob,” our “Bobaroo,” our “Bob the Builder,” “my forever yes guy,” that never said no to any requests I had.

Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings!

I don’t know exactly what comes after my rest.

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!

The “Luxury Band”, Steel Toe Stilettos was warming up to one of my favorite songs,“ Tennessee Whiskey”. I was leaning on the bar in the back of the room getting some pictures of our “Luxury Overhead Structure” and I got a little emotional.

The planner presented a vision for the ceremony, and it was our job to deliver. Our beautiful, interesting, and charismatic bride lives in Thailand. We created a fusion American/Asian garden wedding incorporating tropicals and greenery ​🌿​ We added 4 flower towers for a great visual impact (some were as tall as 12 ft.)!

This bride was so much fun to work with! At one point during the reception, she strapped on a guitar in her gown to play with the band!
