Greetings everyone! It’s been awhile, but we have a big announcement….

Our farm with the equestrian facility and IMTCA course are now listed for sale. This was a big decision, but we hope a buyer will come along who cherishes the property as much as we do, and may one day re-open the facility.

The property is listed by Bridget Archer and Pam Dent, with Gayle Harvey Real Estate Inc. in Charlottesville, VA. They are great folks with lots of equestrian experience.

We just wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU for your many positive and supportive comments! Quite frankly it’s a bit overwhelming. We will always cherish our memories of Coyote Crossing and feel privileged to have had all of you as our guests.

We also wanted to address a couple of questions which have been raised. Rest assured that our facility will be maintained so there could be an opportunity for it to reopen at some future date. Therefore obstacles, etc will not be sold.

Also, for folks interested in other obstacle facilities you can contact IMTCA or ETS for farms in the region. We would definitely recommend Double C Farm in Maryland which has a beautiful course.

2023 Business Announcement

It is with mixed emotions that we are announcing today our retirement from the equestrian business. As many of you are aware, our family has experienced several positive milestones over the past year. But with progress comes change, and after months of reflection we believe our best course forward is to move on to new endeavors.

We know many of you have been very patient waiting to hear word of our plans for this year. This was of course a decision we did not wish to make in haste and are sorry to know this is a disappointing development.

Our biggest regret will be missing the many, many good friends and acquaintances we have made over the years at Coyote Crossing.
We would also like to thank the many folks who helped us over the years, especially all of our dedicated show judges. And of course special thanks to Mark and Lee Bolender.

So to be clear, the equestrian center is now closed. If the status changes in the future for any reason, we will of course post that information here.

We wish everyone a lifetime of enjoyment in your equestrian activities!

Congratulations to our buckle winners!

It was a great day for our final IMTCA Buckle Series show for this year. Great competition among fabulous riders and their equines!

While this is our final event for the year, we will still be open for riders to practice on the course. Contact us to schedule a personal play day or bring a group of family and friends!

It’s almost Showtime!

You can still pre-register for Saturday’s IMTCA Buckle Series show at coyotecrossingequestrian.com/shows, or register in person tomorrow morning.

The pattern walk through with the judges begins at 8am.

Concessions and stalls are available.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

We will be having a discounted practice day ($40) on the course Friday (9:00-6:00) for those registered to compete on Saturday.

Our buckles have arrived!

These will be presented at the end of our October 8th IMTCA Show to the high-point winners in Novice, Adult and Open of the two-show Buckle series. You only have had to attend one of the shows to be eligible, so anyone can still win!

Exciting news… we have received from IMTCA a 4th buckle which will be awarded to the High Point Champion of our Buckle Series at the conclusion of our October 8th show. This will be in addition to the Coyote Crossing buckles for Novice, Adult and Open, and our Youth trophy.

Remember since are only two shows in the series this year anyone can still win!
