NovusMage Systems is proud to announce that we will be providing the Lead Vehicle Technology for the TCS New York City Marathon 2024 next Sunday. We will have 2 vehicles in the EXPO starting on Thursday, 2 more in the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K on Saturday and 5 in the big event on Sunday. If you go to the Expo, checkout the cool vehicles and say hello. :)

NovusMage Systems continues to refine our lead vehicle technology by incorporating 2 waterproof cameras (one forward facing, one backward facing) to continually monitor the LED panels during an event. We also incorporate all critical components in a rugged and waterproof case for increased security and reliability.

New designs arrived today. We hired professional mechanical engineers who have created an amazing structure that can be adapted to a wide range of vehicles. They have run structural stress analysis and confirmed this design is 100% safe and will withstand torsional and linear loads up to 100 MPH. These vehicles should never see those speeds, but it's comforting to know we have a large safety margin. These designs incorporate forward and rear facing IP65 POE IP cameras that are integrated into the new Mantis software to create a closed-loop verification of functionality and accuracy. Finally, the Mantis software is integrated into the RTRT scoring software so the video panel content can show leaderboards, last spilt data, etc. The next post will focus on the Mantis control software.

NovusMage Systems is going to be building out our lead vehicle technology to support up to a dozen vehicles. We are adding embedded cameras, replacing the top platform with anodized aluminum and using newly developed software for controlling the displays. We will be posting regular updates as the buildout progresses. Stay tuned!

I know that NovusMage Systems has been quiet lately, but it's only because we've been busy with new tech. Lots of new and interesting technology coming out this Fall.
