🌿🚜 Weekly Farm Update from Blossom Ridge Flower Farm 🚜🌿
Last week was one for the books… and maybe the first aid kit. 😅
✅ Lots of planting
✅ Lots of weeding
✅ Lots of bed prep
❌ Stepped on a nail (right through the bottom of my foot 😳)
❌ Emergency tetanus shot
❌ Sliced my middle finger pretty good (thankfully no stitches)
❌ Apparently made friends with some poison oak that’s now itchy and spreading 🙃
Farming isn’t always glamorous, folks.
Meanwhile, Buckeye supervised the entire operation from his favorite napping spot. 🐶💤 Such dedication.
The good news? Nature gave us plenty of reasons to smile. 💕
🦌 Our baby deer is growing like crazy.
🐦 We welcomed 5 new baby bluebirds.
🐦 And 4 baby barn swallows hatched too!
Despite all the bandages and bug bites, we still managed to get out beautiful arrangements for anniversaries, birthdays, sympathy tributes, and a few “just because” moments. Thank you for choosing local flowers and supporting our little farm. Every order truly means the world to us. 🌸
We were bummed to miss the Farmers Market this week, but planting season waits for no one! We’re working hard now so there will be even more flowers to share later.
Now for the important question…
👉 What’s your farm injury story? Surely someone can beat stepping on a nail, slicing a finger, and poison oak all in the same week! 😂
Tell me your best “I should’ve stayed inside” story in the comments!
