It has been a VERY eventful season, and I love it. ❤️

Over the past year and two, I’ve met so many incredible entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives, and event professionals through events, weddings, networking, collaborations, and sometimes just random conversations.

But here’s what happens when life gets busy... I meet someone wonderful, tell myself, “I need to remember them!” and then forget to actually write it down. 😆

Now I’m realizing that my contact list needs a serious refresh.

As a wedding planner, I have many roles. I’m also your catering assistant, your human map, your personal stylist, your public speaker, your heavy box carrier, your florist, and yes... your comedic relief.

Some love stories don't begin with grand gestures. They begin with peace. 🩷

When I asked Chone and JiHo to tell me about their relationship,

"This is our first time being in a healthy relationship. Everything feels so easy."

That simple answer spoke volumes.

Chone, whose heritage is Burmese, Shan, Chinese, and Indian, and JiHo, who is South Korean, are both homebodies, natural givers, and always thinking about how they can make life a little easier for one another.

What touched me most was how they described this editorial:

"Rather than celebrating two cultures individually, making it one excites us the most."

That is exactly what intercultural weddings mean to me.

Not "your culture" and "my culture."

But creating something new together that belongs uniquely to the two of you.

Outside of their relationship, they're also building a new chapter together by starting their own matcha latte business, Chae Jiho, from the ground up. Watching two people dream together, support one another, and build a future side by side is incredibly inspiring.

You never really know where your next opportunity will come from. 💛

Sometimes it isn't part of the plan. It doesn't arrive with a big announcement. It simply starts with one conversation, one introduction, and one small "yes."

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to coordinate an open house organized by Your Own Team for 16 real estate agents. From shopping for the food to styling the refreshment table and creating a welcoming experience, it was something completely new for me.

And honestly... I loved it.

This past year has taught me to stay open. To trust that not every opportunity has to fit into the box I originally imagined. Sometimes the Universe has something even better in mind.

A huge thank you to Maria Chen for connecting me with Lisa. That introduction opened a door I didn't even know existed.

And thank you, Lisa Your Own Team, for believing in me, being so open-minded, and giving me the opportunity to try something new. Your trust and encouragement truly meant a lot.

A Filipino x Spanish wedding is one of my favorite combinations to plan. The ceremonial traditions alone tell such a layered story, from the unity arras and veil ceremony to the candle lighting that both cultures hold close.

And the food? I’m not taking shortcuts here. Think Spanish tapas and Filipino bites for cocktail hour, then leche flan and churros to close out the night. The music follows the same philosophy: Latin and Filipino hits, classic and modern, so every guest finds their moment on the dance floor.

Two cultures, one cohesive celebration. This is the kind of wedding I live to design.
