“Congratulations, you have been promoted! You have just become one of my elite employees!”

Flowers brought to you today by these two cuties while I’m out of town. These were too adorable not to share. Couldn’t have done it without master gardener Frank and Anja 🫶🏽.
If there’s anything I’ve been blessed by through trying to grow a small business, it’s seeing my community generously help and support me in so many ways.

Show your appreciation for all their hard work and come out for some flowers and sourdough!

🌹 Flower stand is SELF SERVE.

I think I’m due for a wagon to tow all these buckets of flowers… but for now couldn’t resist snapping a shot of my labor — a wheelbarrow full of blooms 🥹
There are some shortie pink spray roses tucked into the wraps, they were too little to peek out the top but too cute not to include!

Flower stand will be stocked tomorrow at 10am! If the weather gets cray we’ll adjust accordingly, so come early!
Sourdough and flowers will be waiting for ya.

A late May/early June “what’s blooming” garden tour. I can’t believe we’re just about half way through 2025! Now that it’s finally starting to feel like June and not mid March, the garden is really taking off!

Growing a lot of new flowers this spring and welcoming some of the oldies from last year. Such an eeeek of happiness to cut the first snapdragon arrivals this morning, and to look back on my camera roll and see it was almost 1 year to the day last year that I saw my very first blooms as a flower farmer!

The flower stand will be stocked this Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 am! Plan on dropping by for some garden beauty to welcome in June 🤍.

I’ll be honest — I was this close to grabbing peonies from Trader Joe’s this week.

It’s tempting, seeing those dreamy, ruffled bouquets everywhere right now. I wanted to fill that focal flower gap, to keep up. My first year peony bushes are all smiling at me, bushy leafy and flower-less 🙃

But then I stepped into the garden and remembered: this farmstand has never been about rushing or chasing. It’s about sharing what’s truly blooming, right here at home. It was a good opportunity to be truly authentic in doubling down on my passion for LOCALLY grown flowers.

So this weekend, the stand will be filled with textural, whimsical beauties like nigella, orlaya, larkspur, bachelor buttons, maybe some garden roses and irises I can scrounge — no peonies, but still full of joy and seasonality.

And yes — fresh sourdough from Silver Maple Ranch will be stocked too 🍞.

Come by, pick up something local for your Memorial Day table, and celebrate the season as it is.

A look back on last week’s flowers. Such a busy busy week! You can bet your b***y I slept in today.

Wrapped up the last week of our CSA, orders for Mother’s Day events, & opened up the stand at the Silos and by Jet Freeze! Took it one day at a time to make it through the week.

Thank you to everyone who purchased flowers, and welcome to all the new faces here! 👋🏽 your support is truly everything.

IMPORTANT 📣: I’ll be taking this next week to rest, reset, and give the garden some time to catch up. Both I and the flowers need a little breathing room before we bloom again! (Not to mention the mountain of laundry and regular yard/house chores I’ve been neglecting 🙈)

Thank you all for your amazing support—I’ll be back soon with fresh blooms and more to share!

So proud of this. Weeks of hands-on work, months of planning, scheming, dreaming. So many helping hands from amazing friends and family. While I didn’t grow every single stem like I’d hoped, (far from it actually!) I got to meet and partner with some amazing local growers & small business owners and experience the Lord‘s provision.

Come check out my little flower stand this Mother’s Day weekend! Every dollar you spend to spoil mom supports local farmers, growers and bakers.

Cup of joy arrangements :

now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to get back to work at my actual job today because I am literally insane.

💗 Why We Don’t Offer Valentine’s Day Flowers 💗

One of the biggest flower holidays of the year falls right in the middle of winter—when fresh, locally grown flowers are simply out of season. While it’s tempting to join in on the Valentine’s Day rush, we choose not to offer flowers during this time for a few important reasons:

💕 Locally Grown Only – Every flower we sell is grown right here in Dayton, Ohio. We’re committed to providing blooms that are truly fresh and never imported.

❣️ Quality Matters – Many imported flowers are treated with heavy pesticides and chemicals. We believe flowers should be safe to handle and enjoy, without harmful residues.

💞 Ethical Sourcing – The majority of imported flowers come from farms that rely on low wages and poor working conditions. We don’t want to support an industry that doesn’t align with our values.

🌸 Longer Vase Life – Our flowers are harvested at peak freshness, ensuring they last longer in your home. By contrast, many imported blooms spend days in transit and barely make it through the week.

💖 Supporting American Farmers – We believe in the power of buying local and strengthening our own communities rather than relying on mass imports.

💘 Honoring the Seasons – Winter is nature’s time to rest, and we embrace that rhythm instead of forcing out-of-season blooms. Just like fresh peaches and tomatoes taste best in summer, flowers are at their most beautiful when grown in their proper season.

As much as I miss flowers during this time, waiting makes their return in spring even sweeter! If you’re looking for a meaningful, flower-focused gift this Valentine’s Day, why not surprise your loved one with four weeks of flowers instead of just one? A tulip CSA subscription gives them a whole month of fresh, locally grown blooms—because love should last longer than a few days! 💝

You can grab a bouquet subscription now on our website (link in bio/comments). And if you need help dropping hints, tag that special someone! 💟

Hungry for spring flowers? Looking for an out-of-the-box Valentine's Day gift?

Sign up for our 4 week Tulip CSA!

Four weeks of the fluffiest, bougiest, ruffled tulips you've ever seen. Mid March through Mid April.
A step above the grocery store varieties (pictured below).

CSA stands for "community supported agriculture," meaning you are supporting your local farmers and growers (like me!) to provide sustainably sourced products! It traditionally applies to veggies and fruits, but why not flowers too?

It's been a long winter, you deserve it.

Hi, remember me? I'm slowly coming out of winter hibernation, and kicking off the 2025 season with some exciting news:

Yep, you guessed it: TULIPS. 🌷 Oceans of them. I might've gone a little overboard. (I've got 30 more crates not pictured.)

My 4-week Tulip CSA is open, and if you love fancy, ruffled, fluffy, double-blooming tulips you can’t find at the grocery store—this is for you. Treat yourself this spring! Spots are very limited, so don't snooze on this.

💻 The new website is live! Order your CSA spot, check out what’s coming, and stay in the loop—all in one place.

🌿 Coming up: more ways to get my flowers! I’m adding new sales spots this season—stay tuned for details!

Spring is short, tulip season is even shorter—don’t miss out!
