Popular Beaver County Christmas dinner canceled this year

CARE Outreach Ministry of the Beaver Falls Christian Assembly Church will not offer its Christmas Day dinner to the community in 2025, according to an Oct. 30 announcement on the organization's page.

CARE Outreach coordinators Stephen and Rebecca Salopek said "ongoing health issues" were the reason for canceling the annual dinner, held for more than 30 years in the Beaver Falls area.

"This has been a heart-wrenching decision. CARE Outreach Ministry will continue to serve the Lord throughout our community," the Facebook post said.

Dinner has served the community for more than 30 years.

MidAtlantic Men kick off BCCA concert series in Beaver Falls

The Beaver Valley Community Concert Association and Live On Stage Inc. start their four-show season next week. The MidAtlantic Men will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Sept 23 atBeaver Falls Middle School auditorium.

The cost is $25 at the door or $70 for all four shows. Cash or check only.

The MidAtlantic Men are a vocal trio who have dazzled audiences across the country with captivating harmonies and magnetic charm. Comprised of two Americans and one Brit, they’ve set out on a musical quest to settle the timeless debate: which side of the pond, Great Britain or the United States, truly has the superior tunes?

Featuring iconic hits by superstars like Elvis, Madonna and Billy Joel, as well as The Beatles, Queen, Elton John, and more, this concert provides family-friendly entertainment for everyone.
