Yes, I am always on my phone. I randomly blurt out TikTok sounds, and yes, I probably know exactly what trend you’re talking about. 😂

But somewhere along the way, my clients’ businesses started to feel a little like my own. Their goals become my goals, and I’m not just here to throw out content ideas. I help turn them into strategy and actually bring them to life.

So yes, I’m always filming, editing, checking analytics and saving audios… but it’s also the reason one client was put in front of 150,000 new eyes.

If you hear me randomly say, “wait, that would be such a good reel”… just know I’m working. 😂

Girl to girl, you can be anything you want.

I think one of the hardest things for me has been learning how to embrace being new at something. I’ve always been a perfectionist. If I’m going to do something, I want to do it well. I want to understand it, master it, and be the best I can possibly be at it. So taking a leap of faith into an industry I had no history or experience in was uncomfortable.

I knew I wasn’t going to walk into this and immediately be the best. I knew there would be a learning curve. I knew I would have to work my way up.

And I have.

I’ve given a lot of my time for the sake of learning. I’ve taken opportunities simply because I knew the experience would teach me something. I’ve made mistakes, figured things out as I went, and continued showing up even when I knew I still had so much to learn. I’m learning that being new doesn’t mean you’re not meant for it. It just means you’re at the beginning. Everyone you admire started somewhere. Every person who is great at what they do was once the person figuring it out for the first time.

So if there’s something you want to do, start. You don’t have to be the best yet. You just have to be willing to become her.

Things I wish more business owners knew about social media management:

It’s not just posting. There’s strategy, research, content creation, editing, copywriting, analytics and constantly paying attention to what your audience is actually responding to.

Not every post needs to go viral to be valuable. Some posts build trust, some educate, some get shared and some are meant to sell. You need all of it.

More content doesn’t always mean more growth either. I would rather post 2 strong pieces of content with a purpose than post 5 times just to say we posted.

The goal is to build a page that gets your business noticed, remembered and ultimately chosen.

Getting to photograph someone who means so much to me made this shoot even more special. 🤍

Life lately 🥹
