So great to think back on this wedding from last summer

One of the first big decisions our groom had to make was choosing the DJ for his wedding at The Waterview in Monroe, CT. Alex has known me for many years, having seen me DJ company events in the past, so he knew what he was signing up for.I’ve been to The Waterview many times.

Happy 1st Anniversary to R + T, who also just welcomed their first bebe into the world. To date, this was one of my most rewarding weddings to pull off. R+T had a vision of a street festival type vibe, most specifically “the Easter scene in Chocolate”, and they were the kind of couple who more than deserved the wedding they envisioned. I’m so proud that I was able to pull it off for them, despite a challenging venue and family dynamics. We worked through the hiccups to make sure the couple had the best day. I remind couples all the time, that it is our job to worry about the things that WILL go wrong. This was also Dawn’s (my Ford Transit) first wedding and she handled the hills and moving chairs back and forth like a champ. Also, definitely couldn’t have done it without .thorns and who taught me the importance of having help (even if it took me the whole 2024 season to actually heed that lesson).

L+P’s wedding was the perfect way to kick off the 2024 season.

Since I’m always adding to my services in order to keep it interesting, all the signs she mentioned were new to me endeavors. I worked with pressed florals on acrylic for their Welcome Sign, real moss that I Modge Podged onto a mirror for their Seating Chart, and made my first Iron On flag for their Memorial Table.

The assistant she mentions is , who is also a new addition and I’ve been so grateful to have her on board. I can’t believe I did nearly 50 weddings all by myself.

Zuzia has also started her own content creation company .the.lens.creative, so all of my packages will include the option to add content creation on to your day.

Doing the repost thing I do, just to take some time to thank all of the awesome vendors who were a part of the styled shoot I planned and designed a few weeks ago. My focus is on C+C’s Friday wedding, but can’t wait to have the time to really go through the albums from .wallis and and show you all the amazing work by the vendors below and how 🔥 and looked.

Ellina + Conor were an absolute joy to work with. Even when we had to move their ceremony indoors because of a chance of rain ☔️, they remained calm and trusted us to make the best decision for them. They truly let go, and anyone could tell that they just wanted to be married. They released the pressure of the day having to be perfect, and so it was perfect for them.

Just your typical Thursday wedding! Olivia + Vinny, all of their guests and all the fellow vendors showed up like it was a Saturday. Such fun and totally worth the over 4 hr. drive for me :)
