First look, yay or nay?
First of all, there's no right or wrong here. Both versions of this moment are beautiful. The right one is whichever one feels like you.
For the couples who go for it, here's what they tend to love ⤵️
You actually get to be present in the moment. No five hundred eyes on you, no pressure to hold it together for the aisle. Just the two of you, your photographer somewhere in the background, and the first time you see each other on the most meaningful day of your lives.
There's also the practical magic of it. Portraits can happen before the ceremony, which means you actually get to attend your own cocktail hour. And the wedding day nerves? They tend to settle the second you see your person.
But if you've been picturing the aisle reveal since you were twelve, we'd never talk you out of it. There's a reason it's been the moment for generations. The collective gasp, the tears in the front row, your partner's face when the doors open. It's cinematic for a reason.
There's no wrong answer here, just the one that fits your story best.
Our job is to help you figure out which version feels most like you, then build the timeline around it so the day flows beautifully either way.
