There are very few words that can describe the loss of such a beautiful person. The mere 20 years of friendship that started as chamber of commerce members together and quickly grew to what we considered family was simply not enough time. Thank you for your unwavering support through every up and down in mine and my family’s lives. Through thick and thin, you were always there. There’s no one that loved more or fought harder than you. You always showed up. For your family to your town and every friend you made along the way. You were always there. Always giving. Even on your toughest days, you put yourself last. And every person that was lucky enough to know you, whether it be for minutes or years, says the same thing, that your drive and dedication to make every day better than the last is simply unmatched. You were truly one of a kind and there will never be another Lenore Ringer Prezioso. And until we meet again there will be a void in my heart that cannot be filled.

To the Bayport-Blue Point Community and to all those offended. I feel in my heart that I need to come out and speak.

I am deeply sorry for any pain and heartache that was caused to every last person who had to witness or hear about the flags flown at our BBP St. Patrick's Day Parade.

I have along with other chamber members work tirelessly for the last six months to make this years parade happen.

I would never jeopardize this beautiful parade, the community, my business, my wife and my family by displaying such disgrace.

I am personally hurt, embarrassed AND DEEPLY TROUBLED BY WHAT TOOK PLACE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR AUTHORIZATION.

Unfortunately, I put my trust into someone to represent my business and family name that does not share my same morals and values.

I have proudly been a part of this parade for over 25 years and the community for 30 and have never had anything like this happen before.

I deeply wish I could change the outcome of Sunday’s event but all I can do now is make changes for the future.

I had put out the first statement quickly without getting all the details. After sometime and investigating on how this happened, I was able to get clarity, collect my thoughts, and tell you how I feel from the heart.

I'd like to make a correction to the statement that was put out. The "friend of a friend" quote was incorrect. The two vehicles carrying the flags were my nephew and brother. At first I thought there was a friend involved but later to find out there wasn’t.

Please note that I will do everything in my power to make sure that nothing like this will never ever happen again. My brother and nephew are banned from the parade and any other BBP events forever and I will continue to represent myself and the parade the way I have for the past 30 years.

It has been brought to our attention that there was a truck flying a confederate flag and a Fish Store flag next to each other. We'd like to say that in no way shape or form do we support this flag or its meaning. As many of you know Seth has been running this parade for over 20 years and would never approve something so derogatory. Also as many of you know Seth and his family are of Jewish descent. Seth was working the parade at the time and when it was brought to his attention he had it removed immediately. Unfortunately it was a friend of a friend and again does not represent what The Fish Store or Needelman Family stand for. If you know Seth or his family you know he supports all races and his beloved community for as long as his business has been here. We apologize for any misunderstanding and anyone that was offended. Just to be clear this was not the doing of anyone from The Fish Store or Needelman Family.

Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce's St. Patrick's Day Parade is Sunday starting at 11 am. The Fish Store is right on the parade route - we will have hot cocoa and hot dogs outside our store. And don't forget to wave to us as we drive by in the parade!
