MetroStems MetroStems is an urban micro flower farm focused on growing specialty cut flowers in Bayonne, NJ for Bayonne.

The mission is: 1) to make high end flowers accessible and affordable 2) "Inspire Joy One Stem At A Time" and 3) Support Local Small Businesss.

I love making the flower magic happen. But the season is ending and that means its heavy lifting labor time.

Clearing out the old flower vegetation - examining the soil for diseases and pests - amending and prepping beds for fall planting so Spring 2027 explodes with blooms.

Its a lot of work but it the necessary work behind making the flower magic happen.

I love when Yolisse and Kyria from Pocono Petals Flower Boutique take over my basement for event work.

Yolisse lived here in Bayonne on 20TH where she also had her event floral studio under the YSR Floral Co. Life and family priorities took her to the Pocono, PA area where she opened up Pocono Petals Flower Boutique

Her reputation for outstanding event floral work is always bringing her back to the NYC metro area to create magic for her clients.

Its always an eye opening learning experience for me when they are at Metrostems.
