Update: Dog was found. The best news! We love our fur babies!! Help if you can! She is lost in Pamlico County.

12:45 pm: WE FOUND HER!!!!!

3:50 am and a close encounter with a water snake and we are waving the white flag for the night. Please pray for Tangy. 😭

1:30 am: The drone guy went home. We are still here, listening and hoping.

9:51 UPDATE: The drone is up and we really think we heard her bark. But the woods are so thick. We haven’t given up.

Update: At 8:00 PM Thermal deer recovery will use their technology to help search the dense Forest.
He is driving up from South Carolina, and we are very grateful.

A little different kind of $5 Friday today.

EDIT: we are working with another company with a bigger drone which will be much more expensive but it hopefully gives us our best chances. Thank you for your support to help us bring able to do this to find her 😭🖤

We are still desperate to find Tangerine as she is just a 7 pound dog lost in the woods. We would like to try using an infrared drone one more time but it is $250 for the first hour and $125 every hour after that. We have someone sponsoring the first hour (thank you so much). We didn’t have any luck the first attempt but there are a lot of woods to cover. We also have some volunteers who know her heading out to look again today with some of her doggy friends and scents she’ll recognize but with as thick as the woods are, and as highly of a chance, she is tangled up somewhere as she was dragging a leash we feel the drone is our best option to having a chance to find her

We wanted to also say thank you to everyone who has been looking for her, volunteers who have taken time to use their personal drones to look for her, 4 Paws of Pamlico for jumping right in to help and setting traps and cameras… we are always blown away with gratitude by our community. Even though we are very sad and heartbroken we are so grateful for all the help.

Thank you for helping us be able to continue this search.
