Here’s to you, dad! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Being the father of the bride it’s not easy, you quietly support your little girl’s wildest dreams with your time, your strength, your shoulder to lean on, and most importantly your wallet. 🫣😅

Most wedding days, you can find dad unloading a trailer, carrying heavy cases of booze or water, making last-minute store runs, making sure everyone gets fed, or quietly pacing around the room nervous but not willing to admit it, subtly making sure that everything is just right for his little girl. One of my favorite moments of the day is a bride’s first look with her dad. You can tell just how proud he is in that moment. Dads, you make a big impact! Hats off to you and thank you for all you do! 🩵💍

Just a little PSA on this Monday morning: Don’t wait to book your wedding planner or coordinator! A lot of wedding professionals stay booking a year or more out. Last week, I had 3 inquiries for October of this year that I unfortunately had to turn away due to already being booked. 😔

Spring of next year is starting to fill up as well. I am honored to be considered and want to serve every sweet bride in my inbox, but once a date is gone, it’s gone. Also, hiring your planner or coordinator early on can benefit you by having expert advice on the major decisions regarding your big day! If you’re still on the fence, do it before it’s too late. You won’t regret it!

I tell couples all the time, even if it’s not me, hire a coordinator! It is the best investment you will make for your day. You can’t put a price tag on peace of mind or getting to be truly present on the most important day of your life! Can your mom handle it all? Maybe. But should she have to? Absolutely not. 🫶🏼

What a gorgeous celebration for Mr. & Mrs. Newman! Black & white with a vintage twist made for a stunning and classy event that will never go out of style. 💍🖤 I was honored to be a part of this special day and plan this wedding alongside of such a sweet bride! My team and I combined with efforts from so many wonderful vendors that day were able to execute this flawlessly. I am extremely grateful for the wonderful people I have met and relationships I’ve been able to build in this industry! This still feels like I’m dreaming. Blessed is an understatement. I can’t wait to see the professional photos! On to the next! Wishing this happy couple a lifetime of love and bliss!

Last Saturday’s wedding at The Barn on the Ridge in Ola! Emma was the most beautiful and unbothered bride! We could all take a good lesson from her on how to just “roll with it”. Her upbeat and positive attitude made all the difference! You can only control so much on a wedding day and when things don’t go as planned, getting upset only steals the joy that can still be found in that moment. Emma wasn’t going to let anything take that smile off her face! It was really special watching so many people chip in to make this day a success for them.

Meanwhile, I was experiencing all possible human emotions at one time the entire day long behind the scenes. 🥴😮‍💨🫠😅 I will carry it all so you don’t have to! 🫡 Rain or shine the show must go on. And HUGE shoutout to her amazing groomsmen who moved 144 chairs and all the florals, cross and ceremony pieces back inside in the pouring rain. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 The MOST supportive group of guys I’ve worked with and never heard them complain once on top of it being the HOTTEST day of the year. 🙃 And looking at these beautiful photos, you would NEVER KNOW. lololololol

Truly one of the most genuine couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with and the sweetest families on both sides. This day was so full of love and happiness. I replay it in my head often and got to do just that with this beautiful video! I love that I can call these two my friends! Wish you guys a thousand lifetimes of love. Serena’s vows may go down in history as my fav personal vows ever written. She had me crying on the wedding day! 🥹🫶🏼 I am so blessed to be a part of such special moments. I only *thought* I could relate to this meme back when I was in college. 🤦🏼‍♀️😭😅 Don’t get me wrong, college is STRESSFUL. But little did I know I’d be working 3-4 weddings per weekend and coordinating 5-6 per month as a single mama of a 5 year old and 2 year old with a very small village. BOYYYYY.

I am tired. But more than that, I am SO grateful to every single couple who’s trusted me with their most memorable day! 🥹🫶🏼💍 I am very appreciative of my babysitters, family and all who help take care of my kiddos during these crazy hours I work on the weekends, every single weekend. I could not do what I do without having them support me SO much behind the scenes. God has a funny way sometimes of getting you into your calling but I truly believe I was born for this. Creating beautiful and flawless celebrations every weekend to celebrate life’s most sacred commitment, a commitment that was God’s design - is not something I take lightly. It truly means the world to me! 🤍👰🏼‍♀️

May has FLOWN by, but we’re not done yet! I am revving up and recharging for this weekend’s weddings and have one more to coordinate on the 30th! I love sharing my journey and experiences with you all here. Thank you to all who follow me here and like/share my stuff! Still dreaming of May 2nd. 🥹🩵 The most beautiful day for Molly & Grant. Their family was so sweet and every last detail was perfect. Her mom, Lanette planned it all so perfectly alongside the bride and I was honored they chose me & Tiffany Rose to help execute it! The green and blue made for the most fun vibes and set the tone for the entire night! I could not have pulled this off without the most incredible team! Thank you to all the vendors who had a hand in this! Can’t wait to see the professional pics of this one!!
