✨ Facebook just reminded me of something today… ✨

This flyer popped up from 2015 after someone liked it, and I had to pause and smile.

Back then, I was creating before crafting was popular. Before the tutorials, before the trends, before everybody had a machine and a business page. God gave me a vision, and I simply kept showing up.

Looking at this flyer reminded me that what God starts, He sustains. Through every season, every challenge, every pivot, and every level of growth, He has remained faithful.

Eleven years later, I’m still creating. Still serving. Still evolving.

The designs may look different now, but the passion, purpose, and favor of God remain the same.

I saw a marketing post from another business owner (check the comments) and thought it was absolutely brilliant. It was funny, bold, memorable, and most importantly… it got my attention.

So naturally, I had to create my own version. 😆

Now before somebody says, “ChatGPT made it…” let me say this:

ChatGPT is a tool. Canva is a tool.

Just because you have a hammer doesn’t make you a contractor.
Just because you have Canva doesn’t make you a graphic designer.

I’ve been legally operating Ricki’s Creative Concepts since 2011, but I’ve been designing since I was 13 years old. What you’re paying for isn’t just software—you’re paying for years of experience, creativity, strategy, branding knowledge, printing expertise, and the ability to bring your vision to life.

Can you DIY it? Sure.

🎓✨ “The Little Rascals” have officially graduated!

Talk about a theme that brought back memories! We had the opportunity to design this custom 4x8 graduation floor model inspired by The Little Rascals, combining childhood nostalgia with a celebration of a major milestone.

From the school-inspired details to the childhood photos and custom arch design, every element was created to tell their stories.

This custom Little Rascals-inspired graduation board featured not one, but THREE graduating seniors! We incorporated each graduate’s name, major, childhood photos, and personality into the design—including custom books highlighting their fields of study.

From little rascals to college-bound graduates, this board was the perfect way to celebrate how far they’ve come and the bright futures ahead.

Here is a quick Sneak Peek of Marley’s Graduation party. Being a mom and a creator for so many others, I made sure I went ALL GAS no brakes for my very own daughter.

This was truly a family affair and major shout out to our village for all of their help. Because baby, me and these knees was fighting these past few days. But, the professional photos are in and I will be posting them and giving a shout out to everyone that helped make it all happen.

Today is a proud Southern University graduation day! 💙💛🎓

It was truly an honor to design and create these custom graduation invitations for the son of someone I’ve known for years. Tamica and I go way back to our days working together at Blue Cross Blue Shield, so being trusted to play a small part in such a major milestone for her family means so much.

Congratulations to this incredible Southern University graduate as he walks into his next chapter today! And congratulations to a proud mom who has supported him every step of the way. 💫
