💍😌🤍💜25 years ago today at approximately 5pm, a 20-year-old Toi walked down an aisle that would forever change the trajectory of her life when she would marry her soulmate, Brent Sibley. Yes, that day was filled with loved ones that are no longer with us, but their prayers still cover us!

Bookie, our marriage is officially older than what we were when we got married! Lol, I guess I am saying that our marriage has wisdom. It has learned to be quiet and when to speak up. It has learned that always being right is not always what is right. It has not just learned that we will always agree, but also how to disagree respectfully. And it has learned to love each other in a way that others would feel the love on our faces.

I know this goes without saying, Brent, but I love you! I love you so much that I can't see how it is physically possible to hold more love without bursting! I hope that the prayers of our ancestors continue to watch over us in our journey! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, LOVER and THANK YOU for sharing yourself with me!

🥰When I say that I LOVE MY BIG BROTHER Dee Newton , that doesn't even scratch the surface! My brother has opened up his restaurant to me all summer to help promote my business in our hometown of Alexandria. Our Ultimate Sweet Treat Events have been a hit and it would not be possible if he did not truly believe in me and wanted to see his little sister succeed! I am forever grateful 🙏🏽 🥲

🥹🙌🏾...and just like that, I DID IT! I am trembling right now and fighting back gangster tears because I DID IT. I pulled up my grades for my final class and I could hear the computer screen whisper to me, "Toi, you DID IT!"

A journey that started 2 1/2 years ago has finally come to an end and I am so proud to announce I will GRADUATE with my Master's degree in Business Administration next month!👩🏾‍🎓 This has been one of the hardest chapters of my whole 45 years of existence and you guys have been right here from the start. Either you sent silent prayers/positive energy or you encouraged me any time you saw me/heard from me. It didn't go unnoticed and was appreciated.

I want to thank my tribe, especially my husband Brent Sibley. There were many nights that this man would give up our bedroom because I had turned it into my miniature library/war room just so I could focus and accomplish what he knew I could do, even on days I was starting to doubt I could.

I often tell my young scholars, "Do something today that your future self will thank you for!" Well, I get to thank the 2023 version of Toi that submitted that application to La Tech University and started this journey because now LOOK AT US...WE DID IT! 🥹🙌🏾💙❤️💙❤️
