Carmen’s Café was contracted solely to provide bartending staff and the quantities of alcohol specified directly by the festival organizers for the Lemon Drop Festival held today. Our team fulfilled every obligation outlined in our agreement, including staffing the event with 20 trained bartenders and delivering all liquor ordered by the event host.
We want to clarify that Carmen’s Café was not responsible for planning or ticket sales. All decisions regarding batch sizes and inventory levels were made entirely by the event organizers. Throughout the day, our bartending team continued service based on the supplies provided to us.
Unfortunately, the festival experienced significant product shortages and operational challenges outside of our control. When the batches of lemon drop cocktals provided to us by the organizers ran out for extended periods, our team followed protocol and paused service until additional more was supplied, as required by law and responsible-service standards.
Carmen’s Café disclaims any responsibility for the festival’s logistical failures, guest dissatisfaction, or the decision by authorities to discontinue the event. No part of the event’s management, production, or compliance oversight was assigned to or undertaken by Carmen’s Café.
Carmen’s Café remains committed to lawful, safe, and professional alcohol service and will continue to comply with all applicable regulations at any event where our services are engaged.
