A little update on what's happening at the farm.

🥵 With the heat and rain, everything is blooming, including the weeds, bugs, and fungus! 🌱🐌

However, I forgot to share that I have a walk-in cooler now!!!😍 So I've been harvesting as soon as things pop and rushing them in to keep them fresh.

I apologize for not communicating that the stand was empty and for missing the farmers market today. But after just checking the weather, I think I'll reopen the flower stand-
🌸Friday morning through the weekend.🌸

I have so many beautiful flowers right now that I'm dying to share with you! Lots of ranunculus, Canterbury bells, stock, sweet William, bachelor's buttons, and more!

I also offer bulk buckets of mixed flowers for DIY events! Just send me a message a day or two before you need it! 🪣

These cold nights and sunny days have been perfect growing conditions for spring blooms! Particularly for ranunculus and anemones. I may have went a little crazy ordering corms this winter because of all the different beautiful colors they come in! I will have plenty of both today at my the Bath Farmers Market along with a mix of other spring blooms that I’ll be demonstrating how to make your own bouquet!

Today’s the day!!! 🤩 Full Bucket Flower Farm will be there with fresh flowers and dahlia tubers!

Hi! I’m still here! 😀 Several of you have asked me what I’m doing now that growing season is over. Well, I haven’t stopped filling my days with flowers! I’ve been periodically dividing dahlia tubers so I don’t have to this spring when I want to be sowing seeds. I think I’ve gotten about 1,000 individual tubers labeled and stored with about an other 1,000 to go!

I’m experimenting with growing some cold hardy annuals under caterpillar tunnels to see if I can get some more robust plants that bloom more and earlier! I’ve also went a bit crazy planting new bulbs for spring. More varieties of daffodils, tulips, irises, peonies, ranunculus and more! (Did you know that you can keep planting bulbs as long as the ground isn’t frozen?🥶)

Lastly, I’ve been arranging and creating with dried flowers that I grew last summer and saved. I’ve been perfecting my wreath making skills and having fun making ornaments! Tomorrow I will be at the Bath Holiday Market from 4-7pm with my creations. 🙂 Let me know if you can’t make it to the market but are interested in something for Christmas or home decor!

Hopefully I’ll post again before another two months go by! 😬😂

I’m so excited to be a part of this market! I hope to see those I’ve missed from the summer farmers’ market, and meet some new floral fans! I will be selling dried flower wreaths, ornaments, bouquets, and more, all grown locally in Bath at Full Bucket Flower Farm.

If you can’t make it to the market and are looking for a Christmas gift or home decor please message me, and I’d be happy to create you something! 😀

Looks like we’re in for frosty mornings for awhile now. The dahlias have gotten a hard freeze and need to be cut down before they get too slimy. 😝 I’ll then over the next week or two begin digging up the tuber clumps and packing them for storage. It’s always fun to see how many new tubers have grown over the summer! I’ll try to remember to get some pictures of the big dig! 🙂
