Wow!!! Our customers are some of the most loyal people, thank you!! THANK YOU to the most amazing staff anyone could ask for!!! The hours that they have put in during the month of May are above & beyond, more so truly appreciated. Thank you to Byrnes Irish Pub & Maggie for the treat! It made the ladies happy! There is still a large variety of patio pots, hanging baskets, annuals for planting & arrangements in case you missed picking something up! Stop by & see us!

Mother’s Day is this Sunday!!! We will have extended hours this weekend- Saturday we will be open until 4:00 & we will be open Sunday from 9:00 until 1:00! Have you placed your order yet!!! Because our shop consists of mothers, we will not be delivering on Sunday. Deadline for delivery is Friday at noon! Call or come see us!!!

Do you know what your mother’s favorite flower is? Marjorie Hawkes, founder of Hawkes Flowers, preferred yellow roses. Today would have been her 93 birthday! In the late 1960’s she started with a small greenhouse in North Bath, then in the early 70’s talked the love of her life Ed into open their location in Wiscasset & finally intown Bath got a shop! If you don’t know what you mom’s favorite flower is ask, or at least ask her what her favorite color is!!

Mother Nature certainly can’t make up her mind if she’s ready for spring but with the arrival of May, it’s time to prepare for the day to honor all mothers. The original Mother’s Day was organized by Anna Jarvis in Philadelphia in the early 1900s as a way to honor the sacrifices mothers make! We will have a large selection of floral arrangements, house plants, chocolates, patio pots with mixed annuals & hanging baskets. Give us a call or better yet, stop by & see us! The shop has a selection of gifts as well!!
