Today’s episode of Things I Never Thought I’d Do for a Living: pressure washing The Basement and scraping up 22 PILES OF GUM off the floor.

Y’all, I love you. I love your parties. I love your questionable dance moves.

But for the love of God, PLEASE QUIT SPITTING YOUR GUM ON MY FLOOR. 😂😂😂

🍋 Apparently we were supposed to just serve you lemonade… we may have misunderstood the assignment. 😂🩷

We brought the bubbles, turned the music ALL the way up, danced in the street, took entirely too many pictures, and served some pretty dang good lemonade while we were at it. 💃🫧🎶🍋

And somehow all that chaos earned us 2ND PLACE at the 2026 Lemonade Stroll! 🏆

We had an absolute BLAST with everyone who stopped by, danced with us, took pictures, and grabbed a lemonade.

When life gives us lemons… we throw a party. 🍋💃🩷

Hey Batesville, Southside, and surrounding areas!

We know things are tight right now, and we know new businesses have come to town. We hope you'll check them out, but don't forget to continue supporting the other local businesses that have invested so much in our community too.

Downtown Batesville is only as strong as the people who choose to spend time there. Every meal, every movie ticket, every shopping trip, and every visit helps keep Main Street vibrant and thriving.

There are so many great places to support— The Board on 3rd, Polk & Paddle, Maw’s Downtown Table, Sarah•Dipity, The Twisted Spud, LLC., Tomahawk Chop Company, Melba Theater, along with all of our boutiques like Clara Jane and Jax, antique stores, and other locally owned businesses such as Autry's White River Furniture & Décor, Polk Bayou Outfitters, The Ex Salon, Third Space Studios and The Basement for all of your meeting and event needs... we could go on... and on...

If we want Main Street to continue growing and thriving for years to come, we have to continue showing up for the small businesses that make it special.
