I have to acknowledge a very special aunt that is still with us. She is our glue that keeps the Hoskins clan together "Patricia Ann Brown," We love you. I would also like to recognize the epidemic of this "Woman, Mother, Mother -N- Love, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend, Louise! You are the best. My life as a cook started when I was around 9 years old, not even tall enough to reach the stove, but I learned how to get a chair to stand in.
The experiences were great each time. Around 11 years old my mother and I moved to Tupelo and she really began to teach me how to prepare full meals. After several years of prepping and cooking meals with her, she and, I began to participate in preparing meals for other engagements. As a teenager, we would cook dinners and bake pies to sell to the public. I never lost my passion and love for cooking. As my family grew, the more curious I was about trying new recipes, making up my own recipes, or just mixing things up. My family would most definitely let me know whether it was something I didn't need to try again or let's do it again!
