Imagine Your June Wedding at Shiraz Garden

Picture this: It’s a warm June afternoon in the Texas Hill Country. The air carries hints of golden sunlight and the sweet scent of summer blooms. You and your partner are surrounded by your dearest friends and family, gathered for your ceremony at Shiraz Garden, one of those Saturdays that’s still open.

You exchange vows at Sunset Vista or beneath the stunning Outdoor Cathedral, as oak trees frame the horizon and a gentle breeze dances through the leaves. The light begins to soften about 1.5 hours before sunset, giving your photos that magical “golden hour” glow.

After your “I do,” guests stroll through lush gardens, take in views of the Colorado River, maybe pause at the water features or hidden staircases, enjoying signature drinks and appetizers. You and your wedding party head off for portraits at Mohana Overlook, the Hidden Staircase, or the river’s edge—beautiful backdrops everywhere.

As dusk falls, you move to the Formal Garden for dinner and dancing under twinkling lights. Music fills the air. Laughter, toasts, and good food—catered by one of the venue’s preferred vendors—bring the evening alive.

Meanwhile, the bridal party is getting ready in the Bridal Cottage, with plenty of space, a full kitchen, bathroom, large porch—comfort and calm before the excitement. The groom and his party have the Groom’s Cabin, also roomy and well-appointed. We also have a Grooms Retreat by the river. Swimming Pool and Fishing.

You might add unique touches: authentic Persian rugs lining the aisle or lounge areas, water gardens, fire pits, maybe even river pavilions for mini gatherings or late night chats. Rain doesn’t need to worry you: the venue has covered options (the Cathedral overhang, indoor banquet space) so you’re prepared no matter what.
