We brought The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life for the sweetest baby shower!

From the oversized caterpillar balloon backdrop and coordinating welcome sign to seven adorable caterpillar centerpieces, colorful fruit accents, and a hand-painted food display, this one was FULL of custom details! πŸ“πŸπŸŽ

And because we do more than balloons, we handled the catering, too! πŸ₯ͺ

A whole lot of balloons, creativity, and a little storybook magic went into this one. πŸ’š

Tiptoe Through the Balloon Store πŸ’€πŸŽˆ

Took my 6-year-old Teardown Queen to the balloon store, and naturally, she showed up dressed as a skeleton. πŸ’€πŸ˜‚

She’s pushing the cart, picking the balloons, and running the entire operation. I’m just the wallet with a minivan.

And yes, we actually call her the Teardown Queen because she helps me tear down after events.

we've been working together for three days. THREE DAYS. and i've already scared her.
to be fair, in those three days she's watched me run a business, work a full-time job, raise three tiny humans, fight a hacker in my facebook ads until 5am, google the definition of "formidable" mid-conversation, and then ask her to turn the whole thing into content.
"inspiring fear, dread, or deep respect."
i asked which one she meant. she said "deep respect."
she's lying. it's the dread one. i can tell.
anyway β€” if your AI assistant is scared of you, is that a red flag or a personality trait? asking for me. πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈπŸ’œ

The Emotionally Load-Bearing LeafπŸƒ

It's been through a lot today. So have I.
This Very Hungry Caterpillar banner has taken me ALL. DAY. Tracing, painting, light crying β€” and then I smudged it like an idiot, so now there's a leaf. The leaf is emotionally load-bearing.
Anyway it's gorgeous and Saturday's baby shower is going to eat it up πŸ›βœ¨

The balloons cost money. The materials cost money. My time costs money. And my three tiny supervisors have the AUDACITY to expect dinner every night. πŸ™„

Unpopular opinion: I don't do mockups before booking. 🎈
A mockup takes me 1-2 hours I'll never get back, for someone who hasn't paid me a dime and might ghost me by dinner. My portfolio IS the mockup β€” go scroll through it, that's what you're getting.
And here's the thing β€” my mockups actually DO look like the final product. That's 1-2 hours of real design work, which is exactly why it's not free.
You don't ask your tattoo artist for a free trial tattoo. Book the decorator whose work you already love, or keep scrolling.

We’re growing and looking for a few reliable, hardworking people to help with occasional event setup, catering, and teardown!

This is as-needed, weekend-only work, perfect for anyone looking to make some extra money without committing to a regular schedule!

What you’ll be helping with:

🎈 Setting up balloons, backdrops, and event decor

πŸ’ Wedding and special event setup and teardown

🍽️ Catering setup, food presentation, and serving guests

πŸ’ͺ Loading, unloading, and carrying equipment (some heavy lifting required!)

✨ Helping bring events to life and making sure everything looks amazing!

Who we’re looking for:

βœ”οΈ Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

βœ”οΈ Comfortable with physical work and lifting equipment

βœ”οΈ Detail-oriented and able to follow directions

βœ”οΈ Available for occasional weekend work

βœ”οΈ Have reliable transportation and be able to drive to event locations

βœ”οΈ Willing to jump in and help wherever needed!

No experience necessary! Happy to train the right people, and responsible high school students who can drive are welcome to apply!
