Legacy means more than carrying a name—it means carrying forward the values of the people who helped shape you.
My Pop Pop was the original "Meat Man" who opened Ray's Wholesale Meats in 1959. He built a reputation for hard work, honesty, and serving the people in our community. Later, he answered another calling as Magistrate Judge, and where he also married countless couples—including my husband's mom and stepdad right there at his home many years ago.

My daddy inherited Pop Pop's work ethic, love for people, and dedication to serving others. Those are the same values he passed on to me.

Today, I have the privilege of continuing that legacy in my own way. Through Verhine Professional Signing LLC, I help families navigate some of life's most important documents. Alongside my husband, I also have the honor of officiating weddings and helping couples begin their own journey together.

No one can ever replace my Pop Pop or my daddy, and I will forever be proud to say I'm Johnny and Cathy Kown's daughter and Ray and Addie Jo Kown's youngest granddaughter. Their legacy lives on in the way I choose to serve others every single day.

Here's to honoring where we came from while building something our children can be proud of. ❤️
