Natural does not equal safe.
To all our friends, clients and their guests: We are a committed to being a green company. We prioritize sustainable disposable products over single use plastics whenever possible.
This week the FDA has banned a product that we DO NOT use in our operation even as it seems to be a green product. Palm leaf disposables (not to be confused with bamboo or sugarcane) are easily migrating carcinogens into the food they hold at high levels.
Be aware if you are at a caterered event, avoid eating from these types of plates. There are plenty still remaining in the inventories. Hopefully the product will be pulled and tossed.
