Khalil and Tiana first met through mutual friends in middle school. Life took them in different directions, but after college they reconnected—and this time, the timing was right.

Their first date was simple: sushi takeout during COVID. What followed was a relationship built on communication, support, and the freedom to be completely themselves. Khalil brings calm and grounding to Tiana’s life, while Tiana is Khalil’s biggest fan and constant source of peace.

After beginning their relationship in April 2021, Khalil proposed during a sunset cruise in New York City in August 2024.
