I’ll be entering the same chili recipe I’ll be teaching in my cooking class February 21st.
This recipe tied for 2nd at The Webb last week during their Superbowl Chili Cook-off.

Ranch Brands ground beef, stock made from dried red beans and fresh tomatoes, and decades of experience are the stars of this easy to replicate cold-weather favorite.

Put some Charmin in the freezer and come on out, the folks here will take great care of you!

It must be chili season, these fine folks are having a cook-off as well. I went there today to enter and the staff and customers I chatted with were friendly, and the chili and burger special is spot-on.

Every journey starts somewhere, and mine has brought me to Bleu Bison Cuisine. Here’s a little about who I am and what we offer.

My name is Tommy Lorow, the knife and pen behind Bleu Bison Cuisine in Barron Wisconsin. After leaving western New York as a toddler and bouncing up and down the Eastern Seaboard, I landed on an Island and applied at a casual/fine dining restaurant, and they took a chance on me. 30 years of hospitality experience later, beginning in Georgia and finding its way to Wisconsin, I’ve decided to open and offer my own concept of catering where my family and I have made our home.

Launched in 2025, Bleu Bison Cuisine handles events of all sizes: intimate weddings, graduations, baby showers, large corporate lunches/dinners, and more. We also specialize in high-volume soup preparation (like gumbo, chili, stews, chowder, other batch favorites upon request) for restaurants and businesses seeking to streamline their kitchens with quality, ready-to-serve options.

Along my journey, the bar I helped manage for 17 years contributed to community events, fundraisers, and cooking competitions. Glynn County Georgia has enjoyed the participation of many businesses and locals competing for awards and helping vital institutions such as The Amity House, the Rotary, the Land Trust,and 4H. The awards we won with myself as the chef and planner of these are:
