WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY IT WAS!

From volunteers preparing every detail, to children enjoying activities, families gathering together, and neighbors reconnecting, our Lady and the Tramp movie day became so much more than just a film. It became another reminder of what the Barnesville State Theater is all about — bringing our community together and creating memories that span generations.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, every family, every child, and every supporter who walked through our doors. Seeing smiles, hearing laughter, and watching people enjoy the theater reminds us exactly why this journey matters.

Together we’re bringing movies and many other events back to the Building that holds so many memories and where future memories wait to be made… one memory at a time. ❤️🎬

Our amazing volunteers have been working hard getting the Barnesville State Theater ready for Saturday’s showing of Lady and the Tramp as part of the America 250 Celebration! 🇺🇸🎬

From cleaning and setup to putting all the finishing touches in place, these dedicated community members continue to give their time and energy to help make this event possible. We truly could not do it without them! We are not done! We will continue to move forward on renovations while also trying to bring events to the theater. So please continue to support our work and get involved to help.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the theater on Saturday, May 23rd for a fun day at the movies filled with family, friends, and community spirit. 🍿✨
