⛰ Who do you enjoy conversations with: friends or strangers?

Everything in life is an exchange. Messages, energy, feelings. As an introvert I recharge at home and then go out and spread joy (not germs - some topical joke? High five… no? 🤣 )

But I feel so energized when on the road. Acadia National Park blew my mind when I first saw it. It was the most beautiful place on Earth for me at that time. These photos are from my third trip. Love to photograph.

I took these photos last week in Acadia National Park, Maine. THE most beautiful place in New England. The smell of balsam fir cleans you up from stress. Phenomenal views make you forget about time and your own existence. Acadia recharges you and connects with nature. You can feel it.

⛰ I truly hope that we will be able to slow down climate change. That WE will be able to slow down. Stop and smell the roses. Or balsam fir if you prefer)

Success is in the details.

Don’t know who to quote, because a bunch of people believe in it. Harry Potter books became so popular, because JK Rowling thought of every detail in that world.

How much joy a visit to a favorite store can bring? I love little cute bottles and handwritten labels, test tubes, boiling something in it… - details, you know.

How many times I see sloppy stores and restaurants that simply want to get by.
It all matters. Every detail needs to be in place at any time.

So let’s put an effort into it. What brings you joy?

😜 excited to try homemade kombucha after this second step: fermentation with fruits and herbs.

🍎 First bottle has apple and basil in it, another has mango and mint. Slightly nervous, because it feels like I should have dried herbs…

If I fail I will try again. Another batch of green tea kombucha will be ready soon)

So far mango kombucha has turned simply more yellow. We are excited. And waiting for results 💚

🥘 This is how leftovers look in our house: pea pasta with butter, peppers and cheddar cheese.

Challenge for the next family friendly meal 😘

I don’t really like pasta. Remark: conventional pasta. But a trip to Italy last fall showed that pasta could be really good. And ugly pesto kind… one of my favorites. Basil for president!

Pea pasta is one of two ways to squeeze in “vegetables” into my 3yo kid. What do you do moms?

Another thing about this photo 👉 I want to be as clean as could be and create a low waste, eco friendly home. I care about the environment. When it comes to recycling - i am a**l about it). When neighbors don’t see me, I slightly sort the trash. It drives me crazy: is it that hard to throw away your DD plastic cup to the right bin? It’s right there!

🧆Our simple recipe:
Boil water, add salt and oil to your taste.
Add pasta stir until boiling, then cover the top and let it sit on medium heat until ready. Or al dente if you prefer.
Pour off the water. Add butter and cheese to taste.

I 💚 kombucha.

That’s the only “alcoholic” beverage that I actually enjoy.

After about seven attempts I was able to create a virgin kombucha out of green tea. Taste is still a bit bitter and I want to “fix” that with a secondary fermentation. This week I experiment with my all time favorite basil + an apple and mint + mango combo. So far so good. 😊 Result should be ready next week.

🌿 Home grown herbs have been waiting for a spotlight.

Our Story

Art'n'Ally is a team of unique people who sees and captures beauty. And we love what we do.

It was a beginning of 2017 when the idea to actually start a video production company came into my mind. Because for the past decade I have been working on television for someone else as a journalist, as a videographer, as a director... And it was it.

I came to Boston to pursue career in journalism. It was so wrong to think that it will be possible to find a job on TV here... I spent three years creating stories and videos for free, supporting my passion to film working crazy hours in restaurants, selling chairs and even as taxi driver.

But I couldn't give up on one thing I love to do!
