I’m in full cake mode— eggs cracked, oat milk poured, everything coming together & my oven decides it’s not preheating.

Cancel the cake? Absolutely not.

So I prayed, “Lord… let it work for just this ONE cake, in Jesus’ name” 🙏🏼

& so. I turned it back on & just like that… it preheats, beeps like it never acted up— 30 minutes later: perfect layers. Thank You, Jesus!!🙌🏽

Next day, I go to make a cake for my family… & that oven said, “I already did what you asked.” 🙃

Completely dead.

Lesson learned: be sooooo specific in your prayers.😉

But truly… our oven is officially fixed now & it’s up and running, and it just reminded me of something so sweet— God is so good. He doesn’t only show up in the big, life-changing moments… He cares about the little things too, even something as small as a cake in the oven. 🥹❤️🎂
