Which of these gorgeous Naeem Khan gowns is your style!? I personally love the structure of the pink satin dress, but there is also just something so fun about the cape gown as well!
I was beyond excited to step outside of my normal repertoire and photograph something a bit more editorial for this shoot. The talented force behind East Made Co was graciously offered four different Naeem Khan gowns to capture at the Anderson House in Washington, DC. She set each to its own unique background and vignette to give four totally different looks as inspiration to future brides. Head over to my blog to see this opulent bridal feature in full!

Oh hey, fall/winter cover! When we chose this cover last fall we had our fingers crossed that by June weddings would start looking like this again. We just adore Tory & Drew’s Evergreen Museum & Library Private Events wedding (this is them coming out of Loyola University Maryland Alumni Memorial Chapel—the campus on which they met!) • Photograph Leah Huete • Beauty Emily Artistry • Floral Design La Fleur du Jour • Tuxedo Christopher Schafer Clothier • Wedding Dress Emmy Mae Bridal • Planner East Made Co • On newsstands 06.25 or available for purchase on our website. •

So many of my incredible couples have changed their wedding plans in stride with the sweetest, most hopeful perspectives and it has been truly humbling to witness their positivity and their grace throughout what should have never been a challenging engagement season. The biggest question that all of my couples have asked is how to move forward with the design of the day, and my advice has been to treat it just like it was originally planned, even if fewer guests are in attendance. Every couple dreams of the beautiful florals and stunning tablescapes, and those designs don't have to be dimmed with a lower guest count! With fewer guests, there may be extra room in the budget to incorporate the daydream details that may not have been feasible otherwise, and I am LIVING for all of the positive spins and rose colored lenses that my couples have embraced. This fall is going to be a wonderful season full of the most genuine couples determined to be married and I am here for it!
