Bicentennial Park. Winner of the 2025 Coronet Award from the Fairfield County Heritage Association.

Last night, the Village of Baltimore was awarded the coveted Coronet Award from the Fairfield County Heritage Foundation for improvements made to the old Basil Firehouse (otherwise now known as Bicentennial Park).

The Coronet Award recognizes properties in the county that have made significant improvements in restoration, and/or landscaping.

The Village of Baltimore and Bicentennial Committee are tremendously honored by this (very surprising!) award. Thank you to the Fairfield County Heritage Association not only for the award but for all the work you do.

Baltimore Bicentennial committee members included Steve Cothrel, Melodie Rezac, Marc Taylor, Debbie Schaffner, Kathy Roshon, Cyrus Moore, and Julia Miller. Thank you to all the committee members. Also that made this possible.
