✨ WE’RE HIRING LEAD WEDDING PLANNERS!✨
Top Shelf Wedding Planners is growing! 🥂 We’re receiving more same-day wedding requests than our current team can accommodate, and we’re looking for experienced event professionals who are ready to confidently take the lead.
This is not an entry-level position. Previous wedding planning, wedding coordination, or event management experience is required, as our Lead Planners will take ownership of their weddings with limited training.
🤍 THE ROLE
You’ll take over coordination of your assigned couple approximately 6 weeks before their wedding and guide them through the finish line.
Responsibilities include:
• Meeting with the couple to finalize details
• Completing & refining the wedding-day timeline
• Confirming details with all vendors
• Reviewing logistics & coordinating the vendor team
• Leading the wedding rehearsal
• Serving as the primary point of contact on wedding day
• Managing vendors, wedding party, setup, timeline & transitions
• Handling those inevitable wedding-day curveballs behind the scenes 😉
✨ WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is organized, confident, personable, detail-oriented, calm under pressure and comfortable taking charge when needed.
Experience as a wedding planner/coordinator, venue coordinator, catering/event manager, banquet manager or similar event professional would be a great fit!
Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely loves weddings, loves taking care of people and wants to be part of a fun, hardworking team. 🤍
📍 Weddings happen throughout Maryland
🥂 Contract / per-wedding position
📆 Weekend availability required + rehearsal availability typically the day before
