I’ve been creating in the kitchen for as long as I can remember. By the age of six, I was already learning the art of food in a home where cooking was a language of love, tradition, and excellence. My grandmother, who cooked in army camps, taught me everything from homemade bread to rich desserts, while my father shared his own deep passion for food. That foundation shaped not just how I cook, but how I create experiences.

After becoming a mother, I turned that passion into a business, launching a catering company in Silver Spring, Maryland. I partnered with local restaurants, specializing in cheesecakes and signature desserts, while also cooking for festivals and Caribbean parades throughout the DC and Maryland area.

My journey evolved beyond food into full experience curation. In Atlanta, I hosted couples retreats in the Blue Ridge Mountains, designing entire weekends centered around connection, luxury, and unforgettable moments.

Vows N Velvet is the embodiment of that journey. It is where elevated dining meets intimacy, where every detail is intentional, and where each experience is designed to be felt long after the night ends.

I will be sharing glimpses of where it all began, along with what is to come. Our full menu and signature rum punch experience will be unveiled soon.

Welcome to Vows & Velvet, a private, curated dining experience designed for those who appreciate exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and meaningful connection.

Located in our Second Floor Loft, each evening is intentionally crafted to deliver a warm, luxurious, and unforgettable experience.

Minimum booking: 8 guests

Smaller groups are welcome; however, the minimum investment remains based on 8 guests.

A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to secure your reservation date.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 72 hours prior to your scheduled dining

Our kitchen and dining space is where every experience begins, where each dinner is thoughtfully prepared and brought to life with intention and care.

We’re still putting the final touches together, but soon this space will feature an elegant place setting for eight, a beautifully styled table, soft candlelight, curated music, and a screen for viewing to complete the atmosphere.

This space is more than just dining. It will also host intimate elopements and renewal ceremonies, creating moments that are as meaningful as they are unforgettable.
