It feels like the eve our first hard frost. So I put on my sweatshirt and took a walk to my garden to cut my final flowers for the season and make something JUST FOR ME, which is rare. I really did not think I would get emotional because I feel ready. This time of year flower farmers are tired. Ready for a winters rest. It didn’t matter. As I walked through that garden I cried. Because no matter how tired I am I know that garden is my peace. It forces me to slow down and get outside. Appreciate Mother Nature in all of her glory. It allows me to be creative and it connects me to people too. So I shed some tears, like I do, and then I’ll move on with the seasons and look forward to spring. To everyone who supported my flower farm this year, THANK YOU. We have big plans for next year. Stay tuned 💕
