In March 2025, Freedom Chapel opened its doors, not with a permanent location, but with a clear call from God and a small group of people willing to say yes. I stepped out in faith with one purpose: to glorify God and create a place where people could encounter Jesus, belong to His family, and be transformed by His presence.
I have been walking with Jesus since I was 14 years old, when I encountered the Lord in a life-changing way growing up in New York City. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, one shaped by worship, ministry, and a deep love for God’s people. Over the years, God developed my heart through music ministry, leadership, and shepherding, revealing a calling that extended far beyond a platform.
In 2010, I planted a church in the South Bronx and faithfully served as Lead Pastor for many years. That church became a place of hope and restoration for countless lives. Throughout my years of ministry, my heart has always been to see people grow in their relationship with God and walk confidently in their God-given and prophetic destiny through Jesus Christ.
In September 2024, I received a clear prophetic word from the Lord: “Do what you have been called to do.” In obedience to that word, I stepped out in faith once again, leaving what was familiar to launch Freedom Chapel in Jefferson Valley, New York. That act of obedience gave birth to what we are witnessing today.
Every single week, we set up and tear down. We carry equipment, children’s supplies, signage, and sound, not because it’s easy, but because obedience matters. And God has met us in that obedience.
Today, Freedom Chapel is a growing, multi-generational church family.
At the heart of everything we do is our God-given purpose. Freedom Chapel exists to glorify God, gather people into His family, nurture believers into spiritual maturity, equip them to serve in ministry, and send them out into the world as empowered disciples.
I am passionate about leading people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and helping them discover a sense of belonging. We love God wholeheartedly and love people deeply, just as Jesus commanded. Through sound biblical teaching and the operation of the five-fold ministry, we equip every believer to discover and develop their God-given purpose. We train disciples to serve with excellence and send them out, making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching others to live in the freedom, power, and authority found in Christ, all for the glory of God.
We are now at a pivotal moment in our journey.
The building we are currently renting has been sold to a development company, and we need a new permanent home by November 2026. This means our time in this space is limited. While this reality brings urgency, it has also confirmed what I believe God has already been preparing us for our next step.
I believe our next faithful move is to secure a facility large enough to seat 150 people. This step is not about comfort. It is about capacity.
Capacity for salvation.
Capacity for children.
Capacity for discipleship.
Capacity for community impact.
Our initial capital campaign goal is $150,000–$250,000. This will allow us to lease and prepare a space that supports consistent worship, children’s ministry, discipleship, and outreach, positioning Freedom Chapel to grow responsibly and sustainably.
This leasing phase is intentional. It prepares us within as soon as one year to take the next major step: purchasing a permanent location.
Our long-term vision includes a future fundraising range of $500,000–$1,000,000 to establish a permanent home for Freedom Chapel, a place where ministry happens every day of the week, where children grow in faith, where disciples are trained and sent, and where the presence of God is unmistakable.
We are not raising funds simply to secure space. We are building a foundation for ministry, mission, and legacy.
This capital campaign is an invitation, not just to give financially, but to invest spiritually in what God is building.
Some will give generously.
Some will pray faithfully.
Some will serve sacrificially.
But together, we will build something that will outlast us, something that will continue to change lives long after we are gone.
What God began in March of 2025, He will complete in faithfulness. And one day, stories of salvation and transformation will trace back to this moment, when we chose to believe, to build, and to give.
