The Mitchell County Farm Bureau's Women's Committee love the residents at the Mitchell House! We were able to show the residents of the Mitchell House our love on October 9th when we made our quarterly delivery. We were able to deliver various individual drinks, many boxes of snack cakes, journals, pens, word search books, canvas art that could either be hung in their rooms or stood on a dresser, door signs, hair bands, hair clips, and fall decorations for their rooms. We are so glad to be able to contribute to the sweet residents of the Mitchell House.

Ag Friends,
As summer draws to a close, we encourage all eligible farmers to apply for the 2025 NC Farmers Appreciation Day Farmer and Young Farmer of the Year awards. Please share the information below with your members/listservs.

The prize amounts for both categories are consistent with last year:
* First Place: $5,000
* Second Place: $3,000
* Third Place: $2,000

The application deadline is October 1st. The awards will be presented at the event on November 6th.
