Hey guys so let’s talk balloons! Amazon balloon kits to be exact. Below I’ve attached 2 photos of a balloon kit I’ve found on Amazon to use as example.

If you are looking to DIY your own balloons and are thinking about purchasing a kit from Amazon, here are a few things to consider.

1. The photos they use are NOT the balloons they will send you.

2. Always buy at least 3 kits to accommodate for all the balloons that will pop because they are cheap.

3. Do you see the large balloons in the photo I circled? Those are 24” balloons. Do you see those anywhere on the 2nd photos listed as being sent to you? Nope 👎🏾

Still undecided? Send me your balloon inspo photo and I can send you a breakdown of what our kit would cost. Don’t want the headache of all of this.. hire a balloon artist! I know LOTS!! And can make some great recommendations.

Balloon shine tip of the day: a sheet is your best friend.

For a "wow" effect on your balloon arch or garland, balloon shine is the way to go, especially if you're new to balloons. Remember, though, that the shine can be very slippery. To prevent slips and falls when guests take photos by the balloons, lay a sheet down before spraying shine to catch any excess.

One of the most asked questions regarding gold since the day we opened. Customers come in and want metallic gold but I ask them to show me a picture and they always show me a reflex gold.

Bottom of picture: Sempertex Reflex Gold

Another fun fact: The “shiny” gold that everyone wants is called:
Chrome Gold in Qualatex (if you can still find it)
Reflex Gold in Sempertex
Mirror Gold in Kalisan
Tuftex only carries the metallic gold for now but that company is coming out with big things so we will see..
