🕯️💙 INTERNATIONAL WAVE OF LIGHT | OCTOBER 15TH | 7 PM 🦋✨
Tonight I will light a candle in remembrance of my son Xxavien and so many others we have lost along the way.
It's heartbreaking learning to live in a world where someone you love so deeply is no longer physically here. You learn to carry their absence in places nobody else can see. You learn that grief can show up in the middle of an ordinary day, in a song, a memory, a smell, or a moment when you instinctively want to tell them something. And you learn that no amount of time can change how much you wish they were still here.
But I think the end of a life is not the end of love.
And death doesn't get the final word in our stories. ❤️🩹
Our loved ones are still part of us. They live in the memories we replay, the traditions we keep, the stories we tell, and the love that continues to shape who we are.
We may not be able to hold their hands anymore, but we can carry their love with us for the rest of OUR lives.
And that's what tonight is about 🕯️
Remembering that even when grief makes us feel alone, there are people all around the world who understand what it means to miss someone with your whole heart.
Different stories, losses, different names whispered through tears, but one thing connects us all:
WE LOVE THEM, WE MISS THEM, AND WE WILL NEVER STOP CARRYING THEM WITH US.
Tonight, I invite you to light a candle for your loved ones.
Light a candle for your child, your parent, your sibling, your grandparent, your partner, your friend. Light one for the memories you wish you could make and the moments you would give anything to have back.
And as that little flame flickers, remember this: love doesn't disappear when a heartbeat stops. It changes form. It becomes memory, legacy, strength, and a connection that time cannot erase.
This isn't goodbye. It's until we meet again. 🦋💙
