My daughter as a flower girl for the very first time at a wedding I did the florals for! To say I am a proud Mamma is an understatement. Camila has had a bond with her preschool teacher since day 1 and when Ms. Leal asked her be to the flower girl we all said yes! Happy Easter! Went a little over the top this year for our two girls! I just love decorating for my kids. Seeing them lite up like I did just melts my heart! This parenting thing is the bees knees! Can’t wait for the Easter egg hunt later today!

Lovers! It’s been a while since I was on here but I just wanted to update you on life and what’s been happening with MD! In September we welcomed our baby girl Isabelle. She’s been such a fun addition to our family. Navigating a curious and now potty training toddler plus a newborn during a pandemic has been nothing short of difficult but I am happy to say we are feeling like a have hit a turn for the better and are getting so excited to create again for all our 2021 brides! Been a little quiet this year as we navigate through uncertain times and a long period of waiting. Waiting for our little baby girl to arrive.. in one short week we will be blessed with our second child. We have so much excitement, fear, love, experiences of the known and many many more of the unknown to come as we learn what life will be like with two. What I do know is that your heart quite literally doubles in size the moment your second baby is born. I’m so anxious to see, smell, hear and feel her outside the womb. Thankful for my husband for capturing these beautiful iPhone photos with the 5 minutes our toddler gave us this morning. This is the best gift we have received all 2020, our little Isabelle.

Feeling all the blush and spring vibes during long and lonely days. Is anyone journaling or recording their thoughts and feelings during this uncertain time? I’ve learned to do one thing a day that makes you feel good or accomplished. Currently they are things like unloading the dishwasher or cleaning out a closet I have neglected for months which can surprisingly give you a sense of completion.
