Did you know...
- While there are over 3,000 types of tulips in a variety of colors. You might be surprised to know that the only color they don't come in is blue.
- Tulips are perennials and come back from year to year when you plant them!
- Tulips are edible!
- When you cut tulips to put into a vase, they actually continue to grow and elongate in their vase of water
- This flower is actually part of the lily family

MARCH FLOWER OF THE MONTH: Daffodils

Anyone born in March has this beauty as their birth month flower!

Did you know....
1. Daffodils symbolize new beginnings and friendships.
2. There are over 200 different species of daffodils!
3. Do you cut these flowers from your garden and put them in a vase with other types of flowers? They actually release latex from their stems when they get cut, which shortens the life of other flowers that they share a vase with. They like being on their own!
