Spring is in the air, also known as we can all barely breathe from pollen inhilation 😜. I'm here today for several reasons, one is to tell you that you are enough, it truly doesn't matter, don't let anyone dull your sparkle and remember that you get ONE life to live, so do it fully!

Secondly, April and May are going to be WILD but EPIC for my little family and my business! With an upcoming trip to Dollywood, a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala for the sweetest couple, Engagement and family sessions, Seniors, Bridals, Minis at Dogwood Farms and so many incredible weddings I've been waiting for! You guys show OUT for me and I appreciate and love you all so much! (A little token of my appreciation below)

Third, I will be offering beach sessions this summer at Atlantic Beach, NC June 15th-22nd. If you've dreamed of beach photos, this is your time! Every year we take photos on the beach and every year those memories are by far my favorite!

Lastly, if you've made it this far, go do something kind for someone, go pay for a strangers cup of coffee or the person behind you in the line today! Seriously, what a great feeling for you and that other person. I'll do you all a solid and start by example!

We still have a couple of dates left in 2025 for small weddings as well as large ones. If you are interested in getting married this year give us a call and take a tour of our venue. Outdoor and indoor weddings. We will treat you right.

Daisy Woolard is expected to arrive around April 4. Amanda Smith, Her Grandmother,Booked The Lodge for her shower. All decorations including the Jeep were done by Amanda. This is Amanda's first grandchild. She is excited to say the least.

We had a beautiful baby shower last weekend. Don't forget when we are not having weddings we do baby showers, gender reveals, and first birthdays. As well as all other birthday parties in The Lodge. We still have some dates left this spring and summer for these as well. Book early.

As many of you know we were late starting to book 2025 Weddings. We are now booking 2025 and 2026 weddings.

Our OPEN HOUSE did not do much due to the weather. Our phone rang off the hook the next week. We still have some Summer, September and October dates as well as November dates available. Not all. Oct 25 is definitely taken. Most venue's fall dates are fully booked. Ours are not, but we are ready to fill them up... Give us a call at 434-359-2957 and see if your date is available.

We know Valentines is this coming week and we are sure there will be diamonds. Not wanting to get married this year; we are booking 2026 also.

Today and tomorrow is our OPEN HOUSE. From 1:00 to 5:00. We hope you all will come out. Wear something warm we will have the barns warm,but something warm is still good. This is our new sign. We are Axton Lodge, The Pines again. 4261 Martin Drive. Axton 24054. Same location, same family.

Here we are again discussing OPEN HOUSE. When I set the date it was back in November and I never thought about freezing weather. The weather is just not cooperating. It's looking like we're going to get some kind of freezing precipitation whether it's snow or freezing rain. So I will be changing the date to January 18th from 1:00 to 5:00 and Sunday by appointments. Weather permitting. Please share this and let everyone know that for their safety we are asking that they not come out on Saturday or Sunday this weekend. We look forward to seeing each of you as soon as the weather is good. Discounts will still be given we are still going ahead and setting up for the open house so if someone wants to Brave the cold next week and make an appointment and come out and take a look I will be happy to show you the venue. That might ensure you're getting the date that you want. I really hate I'm not going to get to see you all this weekend. I had planned on having coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. LOL We have dates in all months available at the moment.
