I am so thankful for my man. My husband of 45 years who is faithful, patient, the most unselfish person, a servant, quiet, steady, strong, and a beast of a linebacker who tends to our 4 acres working like 10 Trojans soldiers slinging his strength while also practicing finesse and precision like the surgeon he is. Long live our rose that blooms each spring ! Thank you, honey.

This friend the top wedding planner of all time is genuine, a life-giver, cheerleader, teacher, creative genius, and just a kind and generous soul. The wedding industry gave me such gifts of relationship. I am so thankful. This friend for over a decade is such a blessing always. Years ago he asked me if he could do one wedding at RiverOaks Charleston. Well, he is the BEST THERE IS besides being a genuine friend and great person. I said, “of course”. So I am keeping my word although we no longer hosts weddings, I am returning the gift of friendship that he has so graciously done for me through the years. So, cheers to the final, final, of the final RiverOaks wedding. …. Steve and his wife, Jamie are an unexpected gift I treasure. What an honor to host you, Steve and this dear bride and groom.

A couple of them will need an identifying response such as what else is on the paper bag with the little felt purse purchase. What jewelry item is in the clear bag, and of course, the name on the credit card. Please share so these items can be returned.

It’s summer somewhere but baby it’s cold, yet we’ve been eating fine …..lots of greens.. yet fine. I find it amazing that The Lord naturally provides us nutritious greens that grow best in winter and citrus, too packed with Vitamin C ! Fall/Winter gardening is the prize y’all…. especially in CHS. Any Gardners or Wannabes?
