Fall is here and we’re ready for all of it! The colors, the setups, the cooler weather (eventually😂) and of course…our pop-mosas.

Because in Arizona, popsicle season doesn’t really end.🤎

Although there’s some truth to this, building a business ISN'T the HARDEST thing I’ve ever had to do.

Building a business while grieving my son definitely comes with its challenges, but it’s also given me a completely different perspective.

I’ve already survived the hardest day of my life.

So the hard days in business? The mistakes, the no’s, the things that don’t work out, the moments where I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing 😂…they just don’t feel quite as scary.

Building Buhlolo has pushed me, has challenged me and has taught me SO much about myself.

I’m so grateful for the perspective it’s given me and I’m excited for what’s still to come💕

I knew this week would feel heavy. That part wasn’t a surprise.

What is a surprise is the fact that he’s actually gone.

What is a surprise is realizing I haven’t heard his voice in over three years. I haven’t heard his laugh. I haven’t heard him walk through the door or call out for me.

How has it been three years?

How have I survived three years without him?

Sometimes that’s the part of grief that still doesn’t make sense to me. You somehow keep living while still wondering how you’re living without them.

And maybe that’s why some weeks feel heavier than others.

Because no matter how much time passes, I’m still his mom.

I still miss him.

And I still wish he was here.

Who says venue reviews have to stay in the Valley?! ✈️🌿

Here’s a little sneak peek of Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek!

Tucked away in Sedona, this historic property has been welcoming guests since the 1920’s. And can we talk about that wedding backdrop?! The stunning red rocks, lush greenery, and peaceful creekside setting make this such a dreamy place to say “I do.”💍
I made a quick stop to explore, but there is SO much more to see! I’ll be heading back for a full Buhlolo Approved venue review soon.
