December fills in faster than people expect!

The best dates for a holiday party — the Fridays and Saturdays in the first two weeks of December — are usually spoken for by the time most companies start planning.

Starting the conversation before November means more flexibility with the date, the venue and the layout.

In the fall, your event's lighting plan starts working a lot harder.

The sun sets almost two hours earlier than it did in June. A 6 o'clock ceremony that was full daylight all summer is now dusk, and a reception that ran on ambient light in August needs real lighting in October.

If your event is on the calendar for the fall season, make sure your lighting plan matches the season it's actually happening in, not the one you booked it in.

This tent layout puts 150 guests under a 40′ × 60′ tent for a cocktail-style party — lounge seating, high tops and open floor instead of assigned seats, with room left for a bar, food stations and a DJ.

A cocktail layout has to work harder in some ways than a seated one: there's no place card to tell someone where to stand, so flow and sightlines carry the whole night.

A polished event doesn't happen by accident.

When you work with Collective, you're getting more than the equipment. You're getting a team with decades of experience making sure the plan comes together the way it should.

On site, that means working from detailed layouts, coordinating each piece of the install, adapting when needed and keeping the bigger picture in mind from start to finish.

For corporate planners, it's one less thing to worry about. You've done the planning. Our job is to help make sure what's on paper works in the real world.

Because the details matter—and so does the team executing them.

The classic that works with almost anything. Warm bulbs strung along white cord throw even light across the whole tent without competing with your florals, linens or centerpieces.

Formal enough for a wedding, relaxed enough for a corporate dinner — it's usually the first thing we add to a tent, with everything else layered around it.

Available through all four Collective showrooms. View the Tuscan Bistro Lighting rental and add it to your quote list on our website: www.collectiveeventgroup.com

This fall wedding transformed a private residence in Kennett Square: ceremony by the pond, cocktail hour beside the pool, and dinner and dancing beneath a clear-top frame tent.

At a private property, the rentals become the venue. The tent defines the room, the flooring creates a level surface, and every chair, light and glass has to work together on what was simply a lawn the day before.

When it’s done well, guests don’t notice the logistics. They feel like the property was always meant to host the celebration!

25 years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.
