After meeting. And through out the whole process of documenting your story.
Getting to know each other on multiple levels to connect in an organic way.
This is all my 'normal' for engaged couples.
But what truly stuck out to me with Jenny & Joe,
was the way they were learning through the process of each portion of their shoot. I'd prompt them, they'd chat it out and then get reassurance. Laugh it off (where I'd snap the cutest darn real smiles)! And then they'd play it out and have fun with it.
However once we were back to their truck
and playing around with what felt like
their favorite place to be.
I finally captured
Their very own
True. Relaxation.
& Organically comforted connection.
And instantly I knew we broke the ice.
These would be my favorite shots from the entire collection.
I remember saying
"This just feels more YOU! "
And they both just looked at each other, nodded and smiled super big. There it was, the golden shot.
The real connection.
The real feeling of home for each of them.
Not prompted. Just pure purity.
