Meet me at the greenhouse 🪴🤍
A little peek into when we were savoring every splice of sunlight between the rain clouds during our time at the Sharp Farm. Hey friends!
A gentle PSA for full transparency:
Our kiddos contracted Hand Foot & Mouth disease last week. So in turn we’ve been moving through the strenuous process of confining, cleaning, soothing, and resting as much as their little bodies will let them.
Thankfully, Emalynn is clearing up well. The boys are younger so they’re behind a day or two on progress, I feel. And me as mom- I’ve been scrubbing my own skin nearly down to the bone.
I feel like I’ve also learned why Howie Mandel has no hair. I’m a natural “germ-a-phobe” in ways. If you’ve been in my studio, you’ve definitely seen my Clorox and Lysol stash.

But this is next level.
This is TOP NOTCH germ city.
Tiny microscopic. Blister bugs.
Burn the entire house down.
Washer is going non-stop.
Oatmeal baths and constant cleaning of the bathtub between each kiddo. (Two baths for each a day. Cleaning that tub prior to and after each. Whew. My back hurts.)
Castor oil and socks on their hands.

So you know- if Howie didn’t shave his head, he probably would’ve lost it all from being so stressed out 😩😅

Moral of this post:

I personally had contracted this as a child, so I’m in the free and clear for contracting nowadays.
H O W E V E R
I’ve rescheduled all little ones and newborns.
Although I don’t do any touching, it’s just a big no go for me right now. Until I know all of our kids are clear. And it’s officially OUT of our house and presence.

Response times are slow right now, if at all.
I try to dive in late at night, but always feel terrible being the one to email after midnight.
It’s the true battle of momlife and small business jazz, right?

I promise either way, i will get back to you as soon as i have the brain capacity to add on from the outside world again 🙈😮‍💨
It’s just a lot, a lot, a lot.

I’ve had to reschedule clients, and even as a client myself- I was doubling back and rescheduling my own appointments last minute too.

Our babies need my full attention.
