Championships don't happen by chance, they start with a game plan.

I'm bringing that same mindset to Miami Gardens: a clear vision, strong leadership, and a game plan focused on opportunity, unity, and results for every neighborhood.

I'm asking for your support on August 18 to Punch #164 to vote for me, Rod Mack, for Miami Gardens City Council, Seat 4 to keep moving Miami Gardens forward together.

I'm honored to have the support of my team, the Miami Gardens Ravens, and to be joined by my alma mater, the University of Miami football team. Thank you all for being part of this special moment.

I'm especially honored to have your vote.

Linda Cothiere is bringing more than 35 years of education and community service experience to the ballot.

The Haitian-American educator and community advocate has announced her campaign for the Miami-Dade County Public Schools School Board District 1 seat, which includes Miami Gardens, Opa-locka, North Miami, and North Miami Beach. Her platform centers on student achievement, parent engagement, teacher support, school safety, and stronger resources in English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.

What issue should Miami-Dade school leaders prioritize most for students and families?

True leadership isn't just about showing up when the cameras are rolling or when it's easy. It's about standing in the gap when it's uncomfortable, answering the call when others step away, and serving even when there's no applause.

Time and again, Rod Mack has demonstrated that kind of leadership. Whether advocating for our community, supporting those in need, or taking on challenges that weren't always popular or favorable, Rod has remained committed to doing what is right, not what is easy.

Leadership is measured not by the moments of recognition, but by the moments of responsibility. And through every season, Rod Mack has shown that service, integrity, and community always come first.

That's the mark of a true leader.

On August 18, make your voice heard and vote Rod Mack for Seat 4.

If you believe in experienced, community-centered leadership and a continued commitment to service, remember Rod Mack when you cast your ballot.
