✨ Meet Miss Ashley ✨
Educator | Mama of 3 | Montessori Certified

If you’re looking for wisdom, warmth, and a deep love for learning, you’ll find it all in Miss Ashley. A proud Boardman native, she graduated cm laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a minor in reading. She’s also AMS Montessori certified, trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, and CPR/First Aid certified—bringing a whole-child, research-based approach to everything she does.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Miss Ashley has guided countless little ones through their earliest years of growth and discovery. Though she recently stepped back from full-time teaching, she’s embracing a new season filled with fresh adventures, more time with her family, and new ways to share her gifts.

At home, she’s surrounded by her wonderful husband, three amazing kids (two daughters and one son), and a lively crew of pets—two dogs, a cat, and even a horse! Beyond the classroom, you’ll often find her gardening, journaling, crafting, reading, practicing yoga, or spending quiet moments in faith. She’s passionate about plants, creativity, and Jesus, and believes in the beauty of lifelong learning and wholehearted living.

Idk what’s worse… imagining myself in the shoes of those of you who’ve been following me through 2 years, 1 location change, and 500 updates… or being the person just now finding out about all this and feeling completely lost?!

Either way, I’m the queen of FOMO, so as long as I didn’t miss a single grand opening detail, I’d be good.

Ok I’m in actual shock here… 💛 Tomorrow is our team orientation, and has graciously offered to donate all the food 😭 I was last minute on ordering and she surprised me today with this offer!

I can’t say enough about Danielle, the owner. She has been such a gift in this season… someone I’ve been able to cry with, vent to, and brainstorm beside. For her to turn around and support Wonder Village in such a generous way leaves me honestly speechless.

This is what community looks like. This is the village. Thank you, Danielle and Juny’s, for pouring into ours. 🫶

I’m honestly speechless over this one. 🥹

I just found out our friends at are donating welcome bags for our Preview Night… and the first 20 women to register will receive one!! 🎉

I’m so humbled to see a local business come alongside us in this way. It means the world to me personally, but what excites me even more is knowing that YOU get to experience this generosity firsthand. 💕

Preview Night is for those of you with littles ages 0-5 who are still on the fence about classes. You’ll get to meet our instructors, ask your questions, and tour the space before anyone else… and now, for 20 of you, you’ll leave with a little extra gift too.

Yesterday, I was at the bank.
Through small talk, the teller learned I was home with my girls and, with a smile, lovingly said, “Oh, I could never.” She meant it as a compliment. One mom to another.

And isn’t that usually how it goes?
When it comes to parenting and work, people tend to land in one of two camps:
✨ “I could never.”
✨ “Must be nice.”

Here’s the thing though… most of the time, both camps are selling themselves short.
The “I could never” camp? You probably could. You’ve already done hard, unfamiliar things before. You’d figure it out just like you have in every other season.
The “must be nice” camp? You know it’s not all easy. Every path has its challenges that aren’t always visible from the outside.

Life has a way of stretching us into roles we never thought we could fill.
And more often than not, we end up surprising ourselves.

So whether you’re at home, at work, or somewhere in between…
🤍 You’re doing hard things.
🤍 You’re capable of more than you realize.
🤍 You’ve got a village here cheering you on.

And speaking of… our own little village is almost ready to open its doors.

Part 7: From Pain to Purpose

I pulled together everything I had:
my education,
my heart for kids,
my years in the classroom,
my hard-earned healing,
and the support of the village that carried me here.

My husband brought his business sense.
My girls brought their joy.
And together, we began building something that didn’t exist yet.

Wonder Village grew out of a hard season… but it was never just about the hard.

It’s about what comes next.

A place where children thrive.
Where parents can exhale.
Where community is built one playful moment at a time.

I didn’t want a dream that would take me away from my people.
So we built one that keeps us all in it together.

It started as an idea.
Now the walls are up, the space is complete, and we’re adding the final touches.

You’ll still get the full Wonder Village experience! Our play village was designed with input from color psychologists, school psychologists, and experienced teachers. Every corner is thoughtfully created to be enriching, imaginative, and engaging for your child.

📚 Want a class instead? Check out these options:

👶 The Journey Series (newborn–2.5)
Perfect for babies + toddlers taking in the world for the very first time. Gentle activities, sensory play, and parent‑child connection time.
👉 Broken into age groups so every stage feels supported.

🌱 Preschool Prep & Play (ages 2–3)
For the year before preschool! We blend Montessori‑style stations with playful routines to build friendships, confidence, and independence.

🤸 Creative Movement (9 months–5 years)
A fun mix of movement, early gymnastics, and storytelling. Perfect for kids who love to move their bodies and explore with energy!
