Roots to Leaves Supper Club Seasonal, organic, vegan, local supper club in Austin, TX. (Formerly known as Hyden Park Supper Club)

Originally started in June 2011, as Hyden Park Supper Club - Austin's first vegan supper club. HPSC served 9 dinners over the next year - most of them selling out. Chef Elizabeth then moved to Boston for a personal chef position, and later worked at a handful of Boston's top restaurants, including Bondir (Cambridge and Concord), True Bistro (Somerville), and The Beat Hotel (Cambridge). oved back to Austin in 2014, and with her new skills and experiences acquired in Massachusetts, decided to re-start her supper club. Since the supper club would no longer take place in the Hyde Park neighborhood, it was renamed "Roots to Leaves" - a play on "nose to tail". The first Roots to Leaves Supper Club dinner was in January 2015.

Bet you can't tell which pizza is made with vegan cheese (trick question - they both are!). The vegan cheese recipe I've developed for Li'l Nonna's looks, melts, feels and tastes like real cheese. We've started an IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign to help open our trailer in the next couple weeks. Instead of giving you a small token of a reward for your contribution we're giving you back your entire contribution in the form of a gift certificate if you contribute $50 or more. So if you contribute $50 to our campaign we'll email you a digital gift certificate for $50 (can be used on multiple occasions and never expires). Hi! Sorry there hasn't been much supper club action lately, but it's because I'm getting ready to open a PIZZA TRAILER with my friend (Via 313 alum). "LI'L NONNA'S" will be an entirely vegetarian trailer (but everything will be vegan or have a vegan equivalent at no extra charge! Lots of gluten-free options too!) located at Buzz Mill Coffeeshop/Bar off of E. Riverside Dr. I'm currently recipe testing our own vegan cheeses (so far really good!) and meat alternatives (Italian seitan sausage, ground tempeh crumbles, BEETERONI). Hey! Sorry it's been awhile! A huge thank you to everyone that came out to the pop up in April! I was about to announce another pop up, but then Fork & Vine suddenly closed, so back to the supper club format for now. Dinner is Saturday, June 25, at 7pm, in (far) northwest Austin. Seating is limited to 24 people. More info/tickets on the event page posted below. If you're on the email list you should have gotten an email invite - check your spam folder.
