Designing an event isn’t only about how the room looks, it’s also about how every detail feels, including the food. ✨

For this 19th birthday, we worked hand-in-hand with our catering partner to create a menu that matched the energy of the night. Since most guests were teens, we curated a spread of heavy appetizers and small bites that were both approachable and elevated.

But we didn’t stop there. The buffet itself was styled to align with the party’s boho-meets-disco aesthetic, from the color palette to the presentation, every choice was intentional. Because when the menu looks as good as it tastes, it becomes part of the design story.

This wasn’t just a DJ setup , it was a statement piece.

For this 19th birthday, we custom fabricated a mirror-glass DJ booth inspired by the shimmer of a disco ball. Paired with a full wall of disco balls and a wash of purple lighting (her favorite color), this moment became the heart of the party.

The goal? A space that felt like a modern beach club — with a twist of boho and disco energy.
The result? One unforgettable dance floor.

With the help of the incredible St. Louis House gala committee, guests kicked off the evening with “Game On”, a lighthearted icebreaker that set the tone for connection and joy.
